Shipping policy

 

This shipping policy is part of our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and therefore should be read alongside the main Terms.

Order Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation email as soon as you place your order. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. We will start our fulfillment process once we receive your order and the payment has been verified. Most orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days. Transit times vary from 5-7 business days.

Order Shipment

We will send tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within five business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at info@officecomforthq.com.

We offer free ground shipping to the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Shipping Providers

We are committed to ensuring that your order arrives safely and on time. We work with all major delivery services, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and the USPS, to provide reliable and efficient shipping options.

Large or heavy items are typically shipped with a Bill of Lading. A representative from the freight company will contact you by phone to arrange delivery, usually within a specific four-hour period.

Receiving and Inspecting Freight Shipments

We trust that your order arrives safely and meets your expectations. Upon receipt of your order, inspect the package(s) to ensure no damage occurred during shipping. Adhere to the inspection guidelines below.

Inspect the box for external damage, remove the packaging, and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver. If there is any damage, visible or not, you must indicate such on the delivery receipt. When you sign the delivery ticket and do not note any damage, the merchandise becomes your property. Customers must call or email our customer service department within 24 hours of receipt to report any missing items or delivery damage.

If damages are visible, then take photos or make a video recording of the exterior packaging (all sides/boxes) and show any damage to the merchandise and packaging. Note damage on the Bill of Lading, and keep a copy of the Bill of Lading for your records. Ask the driver to mark the Bill of Lading as damaged.

Check for concealed damage by opening the packaging to look for damage that could have occurred inside the packaging but left the packaging intact. (This must be reported to our customer service team within 24 hours of signing the bill of lading).

Shipping Options

Our base "Curb-side" Pickup shipping is usually completely free! There are other options available for some products. Contact us for more information about these before ordering.

  • Threshold Shipping: Threshold Shipping involves the item being brought onto your porch, or into a sheltered/garage area.
  • White Glove Delivery: White Glove Delivery includes the item being brought into your room of choice, any minor assembly, and all boxes and packaging removed from your house!
